Hi, and welcome to my small corner of the web. I am a part time
artist, part time graphic designer. Like most artists, I started
drawing at a young age and as a teenager decided I world like to
become a professional artist. After high school I attended Sir
Wilfred Grenfell College in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, and
in 1998 graduated with a BFA in Fine Arts. I painted mainly in oils
at that time, but also studied printmaking, photography, drawing
and art history. I was fortunate enough to spend some time in the
summer of 1997 studying art history in Harlow, England. If you would
like to view some pictures from my studies in England, click here.
I later completed a diploma in Graphic Design and Communication
at Lawrence
College, in St. John's, Newfoundland. This last year I began
working in watercolours. I am concentrating mainly on fantasy art,
and my favorite subject is Fairies.
Some
of my favorite artists are: JW Waterhouse, Randy Queen, Michael
Turner, Humberto Ramos, Amy Brown and Jasmine Becket-Griffith.
I live
and work in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.
About
